Timur is the Head of Kazakhstan for the Bitfury Group. Timur has more than 10 years of experience in consulting, strategic management, entrepreneurship and startup foundations. Before joining Bitfury, Timur co-founded several startups and innovation companies, such as Bridge Group Ltd, a consulting company that drives corporate innovations in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus, Austria and the US.

Prior to his work with Bridge Group Ltd, Timur was the consulting division leader of Hewlett-Packard in Kazakhstan, where he was responsible for the coordination of activities of HP BUs on large, complex strategic projects in the region.

Before joining HP, Timur held strategic management roles with the National Exploration Company KazGeology, the government IT holding company Zerde and the Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna, which manages $80-90 billion assets and more than 500 subsidiaries. As the Director of Strategy and Corporate Governance for Samruk-Kazyna, Timur contributed to the development and implementation of best practices of corporate governance and strategic development of the SK and its subsidiaries and affiliates.

Timur also serves on the supervisory board member of the Astana Startup Hub, one of the new main startup ecosystems in Kazakhstan, and teaches an MBA course on strategy and corporate governance.
